We are looking for a person or couple to join our team and live and work in a boutique hotel located on the beach along Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
We are seeking a reliable, personable, and trustworthy couple or individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property. All living expenses are included along with a salary for the role which will be commensurate with experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a small, but growing hotel group, gain management and hospitality experience, and oversee the end-to-end operations of a hotel. Great location, right on the beach and warm weather year round!
The Role:
- This is a full time, year-round, live-in position(s). It requires a person or persons that is motivated, can multi-task, communicate with guests, and handle the daily functions of a small boutique property.
- Experience in hospitality is preferred with specific previous roles in front desk, back office, maintenance, and/or housekeeping.
Duties:
- Manage all elements of the front desk – answering phones, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, and assisting guests
- Oversee the property including maintenance and general upkeep and coordinate with local trades and contractors. Manage hiring professionals when needed (pool maintenance, plumbers, electricians, etc.).
- Coordinate the maintenance of the grounds maintained, plants and grass watered and mowed, bushes trimmed.
- Manage OTA (Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia.com) reservations.
- Hiring, managing and training staff including housekeeping, front desk staff, and other roles as required.
- Oversee on-site laundry and coordination with the housekeeping team.
- Manage housekeeping and quality and maintenance of the rooms.
- Manage staffing schedule.
- Assist with online review sites and review maintenance (i.e. Facebook, Yelp, Booking, Expedia, Google reviews, etc.).
- Manage monthly OTA reconciliations (Booking.com & Expedia.com and Motel website).
- Maintain daily deposits and reporting.
- Provide reporting and communication with the central head office.
Hours:
- At least one member of the team must be onsite at all times.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- The hotel lobby is not open at night so coordination with guest communication and afterhours access/service is in place. *The property is also moving to a more automated check-in process with less time needed to be at the front desk each day.

- Paid training is provided and the positions will receive a full-time salary. Salary will be based on experience.
