Toss out your snow-blower and stock up on sunblock because winter-time high temperatures in the Phoenix area are typically in the 70s and 80s. And even better, working at Sunflower, a highly regarded active-adult Arizona Resort during the “snowbird season” will leave you plenty of time for savoring some of that world-famous Southwestern sunshine.
Indeed, after just a few hours of work each week, you’ll be able to enjoy our fabulous on-site resort-style amenities — sparkling pools, state-of-the-art fitness center, pickleball courts, tennis courts, hiking classes, aqua-aerobic classes and much more — and/or play a round or two (or three!) of golf at one of the 200+ golf courses in town or even take in a Spring Training game in the merry month of March — just be sure to leave the ice-scraper at home.
We’re looking for Workampers who want to be part of a close-knit network of friends and neighbors. Those who can’t wait to see what fun and joy the next day brings and who cherish making lifelong friendships that last well past the “season”.
Specifically, Cal-Am Resort’s team in Surprise, Arizona is hiring Workampers for the 2020-2021 winter season. Perfect for singles or couples, these paid positions run the gamut from servers and bartenders to cooks, food-runners & cashiers in food service. And when your short shifts are over, you’ll enjoy all the fun our resorts offer.
The amount of hours varies depending on the resort but generally hovers in the area of 26/hours per week per couple (e.g., a single person: 26 hours/week; a couple: 13 hours/week each). The W2 wages you earn are intended to provide you with enough income to pay for your Lifestyle Fee.
This year’s season runs from October 1, 2020 until May 5, 2021, but we’re flexible.
