Manager:
Under general supervision of the Condominium Association (CA), this position reports to the president of the Board of Directors (BoD.) The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the community and will demonstrate independent judgement and initiative. The manager will safeguard the safety and security of all short term rental guests, staff, owners, and residents, and will ensure the complies with standards from the state and other governing authorities.
This is a hands-on, working position. The manager will lead by example and with integrity and be active and visible in all areas. The Manager must have the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects, multitask, be able to update and/or develop operations and procedures manuals, and be proficient in computerized operations and Internet tools.
S/he must be a self-starter and fast learner, with some prior customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. S/he must always demonstrate professionalism. A strong sales/reservations background is preferred. The duties are grouped according to the objectives of LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT, and RENTAL PROGRAM OVERSIGHT, yet all duties cross all objectives.
OBJECTIVE #1: PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE AND BRAND OF THE PROPERTY AS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR MOUNTAIN LIVING AND ENTERTAINMENT AND VACATION RENTALS.
OBJECTIVE #2: MAINTAIN AND INCREASE THE VALUE OF THE HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION PROPERTY.
OBJECTIVE #3: MAINTAIN AND INCREASE THE PROFITABILITY AND VALUE OF THE RENTAL PROGRAM ENSURE EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE OPERATIONS.
Maintenance Specialist:
The Maintenance Specialist reports to the Manager (when Manager is not present, to the Assistant). The ideal candidate will be able to carry out both indoor and outdoor maintenance duties for the Vacation Rental Condominium Association (VRCA). Both preventive maintenance and light fixing of broken items may be required. The ideal candidate will be able to differentiate items which can be fixed and which items are most cost effective if replaced, and the ideal candidate will be able to know what items are best fixed by calling in a tradesman or specialist (which will be done via the Leadership of the Manager/Assistant Manager).
All duties at the facility point to the three objectives of the organization. While the Maintenance specialist works primarily toward the maintenance of the properties and Rental Program, all staff work toward the three organizational objectives:

OBJECTIVE #3: MAINTAIN AND INCREASE THE PROFITABILITY AND VALUE OF THE RENTAL PROGRAM & ENSURE EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE OPERATIONS.
