Assistant Park Manager and Park Interpreter (Naturalist) couple sought for Silver Lake State Park in Barnard, Vermont

The Assistant Manager is responsible for day to day operations including supervising staff, customer service, making reservations using a computerized point of sale program, enforcing rules and light maintenance such as mowing and painting. The Park Interpreter plans and designs educational programs for park visitors. A background in teaching or similar experience is required for the Interpreter. 

Pay is hourly per person: $14.29 for the Assistant Manager and $13.63 for the Interpreter. Residency is required for which a house and utilities are provided free of charge. In addition to free housing, perks include free camping and admission to Vermont State Parks, pro-deals, free fishing licenses, and free or reduced admission to many Vermont attractions. Successful candidates will need to pass a background check.
