WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for 1 more set of WORK CAMPER couples that enjoy a fun working environment, smile easily, have a good attitude, goal oriented and want to MAKE IT GREAT! Must be good with customer relations and willing to be a team player with everyone working together to ensure that our guests have a positive camping experience. Everyone chips in with the cleaning, stocking, organizing, and keeping the campground up to our standards. We are located remotely in the center of South Dakota but maintain a remarkably busy campground.
We are a KOA Journey, which is a one night stop-over point for campers in-route to the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Devils Tower, or Yellowstone. We strive to have excellent customer service at our prairie oasis KOA in South Dakota. Our 2021 camping season is May 1 thru September 30, 2021.
**Please note this is a high paced working environment, with the majority of the time the park is at full capacity,**
We are very remotely located… nearest Walmart or McDonald's is 80 miles away.
In our past season, were have found that one work camper usually wants to work outside and the other usually wants to work inside. We cross training all our employees for every job. We do this so everyone can do everything and knows how it needs to be done!
Our 2021 season is May 1st till September 30th. We ask our work campers to arrive a week or two prior to start date to get use to the Mountain time zone, explore the area before starting work and to be able to relax.
Our work week is 32 hours per week, and 2 days off, back-to-back to enjoy all that South Dakota has to offer and explore. We do have jobs available for 40 hours per week if looking for that..
We pay $12.00 per hours for every hour worked. We provide a Full Hook Up Site with cable and internet.
Payroll is bi-monthly, paid on the 1st and 15th of each month. We give our work-campers a 20% employee discount for items in the store and for propane, 3 free uniform shirts and name tag! We also provide a South Dakota tourism card that provides you with free or discounted admission to numerous sites.
