FEATURED JOB OPENING: Hotel General Manager Couple - San Antonio, TX

Our hotel in San Antonio has had recent touch-ups to our rooms and needs a dynamic management team to make it shine.

We are centrally located to The Shops of La Cantera and The Rim Shopping Center with many restaurants within 10-minute walking distance. There are popular attractions such as Six Flags Fiesta Texas and San Antonio SeaWorld. San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium closely situated. While only 20 minutes from Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio.

We are looking for a management couple who can primarily manage, maintain and improve operations at our 53 room hotel.

If you are energetic, have a can-do attitude and care about people and their experience while staying in our hotel, and are always open to making things better for the best results possible. We would love to hear from you.

Candidate MUST have the following to be considered:

• Recent management experience in Hotel/Motel Management.
• Maintenance experience (Must know how to use power and non-power tools for light handy work)
• Customer service oriented
• Computer proficiency, including Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with QuickBooks and or other accounting platforms (not mandatory)
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Successful passing of background check
• Ability to work or be on call 24/7

Duties include:

• Checking in/out guests
• Maintenance and repairs
• Record & keep the required operational and maintenance records
• Routine cleaning of rooms and common areas
• Routine laundry services
• Coordinate revenue management with franchise and ownership
• Coordinating necessary landscaping and pool servicing.
• Cooperate with master franchise on revenue management to develop all applicable channels, create packages and rate codes
• Sales efforts to develop all applicable sources of business. Inside and outside sales efforts required
• Work on marketing and follow through initiatives to impact the hotel’s revenue.

We offer: 

• Full-time position
• $12,000 stipend to be provided to the successful couple used for accommodation and utilities
• Monthly compensation $4,000-$5,000 depending on experience.
• Incentive-based on performance and occupancy
