Maintenance Manager & Leasing Agent Couple - Morristown, NJ

LEASING AGENT & MAINTENANCE MANAGER (2 PERSON TEAM) - (LIVE-ON) 

Established Property Management Company seeking a Leasing Agent & Maintenance Manager Team (2 People) for multi-family residential apartment community. 

LEASING AGENT- (multi-family/ Apartment community preferred)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Charged with meeting and greeting prospective tenants as well as serving as the first point of contact for all current tenants, the Leasing Agent must possess a pleasant demeanor, demonstrate good organizational skills and be able to follow company protocols and procedures. The Leasing Agent is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building's interior common areas 

MAINTENANCE MANAGER- 
***THIS POSITION IS HANDS ON AND REQUIRES PHYSICAL LABOR***
The Maintenance Manager's physical condition must be sufficient for the consistent and successful completion of the specific responsibilities defined for this position. The employee may be required to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds and operate power tools.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS -- EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds, The Maintenance Manager must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service. The right candidate will possess the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action in addition to having experience in the following skill sets:

• Basic carpentry skills
• Hanging modular cabinets
• Trim work
• Light plumbing 
• Light electrical
• Tiling
• Sheet-rocking
• Provide & maintain own tools
• Valid NJ driver's license 
• Appliance repair
• Experience in painting
