Campground Hosts - Zortman, MT
Live and work welcoming visitors and maintaining campground operations at our newest visitor facility.
Campground hosts are instrumental in our mission to create a grasslands wildlife reserve for public enjoyment. In addition to orienting and monitoring visitors from near and far in one of Montana’s most beautiful locations, hosts are responsible for day-to-day operation and oversight of the campground. Located along US 191 just north of the Missouri River, the campground is modeled on a KOA facility with a bath house, 4 cabins, 12 RV sites and 8 tent sites.
Hosts must have their own RV and are provided an RV site with 30A and 50 A services, onsite dumping station, and potable water tanks. Work hours are typically 8am-11am and 6pm-9pm daily, 5 days per week and an average of 30 work hours per week. The wages are $450 per week.
We serve as a base for people from around the world to explore the prairie landscape. This part of Montana is rich in recreation opportunities. Within a short drive of the campground visitors can fish on nearby rivers and reservoirs, hike in the Little Rockies Mountains, wildlife watch in the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge, mountain bike dirt roads, or sightsee by 4WD vehicle.
