Looking For Mature Couple To Manage Motel - Rothsay, MN

Experienced, mature couple sought for a 14-room motel catering to local, regional and international travelers to Rothsay, MN. Prefer if one partner can do maintenance. Motel operates all year round and is located 2 hours and 50 minutes north of Minneapolis, 40 minutes southeast of Fargo, SD and and 25 minutes northwest of Fergus Falls, SD. 

The motel sits just off Interstate 94 E (direct route from Minneapolis) and is located within minutes from Detroit Lakes an many other lakes, parks, and Native American reservations. The area offers a number of vacation attractions and summer is our busiest season. This is a non-smoking motel.

Prior innkeeping/motel experience preferred, but will consider hard working couple with excellent customer service and maintenance skills. Salary plus free 2 bedroom, 1 bath onsite living quarters with with large kitchen, livingroom and a beautiful garden. ALL utilities (incl. TV) paid by owner. Responsibilities include online reservations (w/ Expedia and Booking.com), guest check-in/out, front desk service, online reservation management system, housekeeping and laundry duties (additional housekeeping help hired based on need and bookings). Must be able to use a computer and be able to use online reservation app. Extra pay for some maintenance work beyond basic cleaning and upkeep.
