Live in Resort Caretaker Couple - Gold Bar, WA

Live-in caretaker wanted for a group retreat lodge. If you have ever dreamed of living in and caring for a beautiful home in the country, this is the perfect job for you. Located on 10 beautiful wooded acres, this 10 bedroom log lodge is set in the countryside and host to group retreats throughout the year.

Duties include:

• Housekeeping:
  • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
  • Bedmaking, laundry, bathroom cleaning
  • Attention to detail and tidy
• Yard work:
  • Lawn mowing (with riding mower)
  • Basic gardening (watering, weeding, maintaining)
• Light handyman type capabilities
  • Good physical health (2 to 3 flight of stairs)
  • Basic knowledge of home keeping and simple repair tools
• Greeting guests and providing tours
  • Checking in guests
  • Providing tours of facility

Requirements:

• No pets (due to guest allergies)
• No smoking or drug use
• Will need to undergo a background check
• Has personal transportation. We are 2-3 miles from the bus route so best if you have your own transportation for errands or days off

• Note: This position is best with couples so one person can always be monitoring the lodge. This position is not suitable for those with children as you will be living on the premise.
