FEATURED JOB OPENING: Ranch Hand Couple - near Steamboat Springs, CO

Ranch Hand COUPLE needed for high-end mountain ranch near Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Seeking an experienced, service-minded couple to join our team and assist the ranch managers in every aspect of daily ranch work.

Man’s focus will be maintaining and building fence, weed control, haying, general ranch operations, snow removal and guest hospitality. This is a jack-of-all-trades position.  He must be mechanically inclined to help maintain a variety of vehicles and equipment and he should have some livestock experience to assist with the cattle and bison operations. This position is year-around and full-time.

The woman’s priorities will include assisting with general ranch duties and keeping the horse herd physically fit and gentle. A background in guest ranch hospitality and marketing would be helpful. This position is full-time in the summer and part-time in the winter.

Both should be self-motivated with good communication skills, be progressive thinkers and willing to learn. This is not a management position, but the responsibilities will grow over time. Couple must be willing and able to follow directions and be team members while also showing initiative for their areas of responsibility. A 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home, utilities, excellent salary, and benefits package will be provided. No small children please.
