Hotel Manager / Couple – Resort Community - Denny Island, BC

 Our resort is a popular destination for Sport Fishing, Eco-Tourism and also the central hub for mariners heading to and from Alaska or Haida Gwaii via the inside passage. The resort and community are known for their adventurous coastal lifestyle, friendly hospitality, and world-class natural landscapes.

What we are hiring for?

We are hiring a Hotel Management Couple to join our growing team of skilled hospitality specialists and marine professionals!

Responsibilities:

·         We are looking for a leader to manage and oversee the daily operation of our two hotels, 5 vacation rentals, offseason moorage, and staff accommodation

·         This position requires someone with hands on experience managing and  coordinating a hotel operation

·         Train and coordinate staff, manage the front desk, create sales packages, monitor inventory / replenish stock, and ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization in the hotel

·         High level of customer service for check-ins, taxi service, etc.

·         Hands on manager who can cover all aspects of the hotel including laundry and housekeeping

Requirements:

·         At least five years’ experience running a hotel

·         Must be very proficient on MS Office and willing to learn other programs

·         Extensive knowledge of hotel operations

·         Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

·         Level headed and cool composure to handle any situation with the customers in mind

·         Comfortable living onsite with possible late night and early morning check-ins

This is a relocation position where you will live and work in our small rural community year round.
