Experienced, mature couple sought for a 17-room motel catering mostly to local, regional and international travelers to Jackson, MN. Prefer if one partner can do maintenance. Motel operates all year round and is located 2 hours and 40 minutes from Minneapolis and 1hr and 25 minutes from Sioux Falls, SD.

This is a unique half-underground motel with loads of charm and very popular on Trip Advisor and other similar websites. The motel sits just off of Interstate 90 and is located within minutes from Lake Okojobi near the Iowa border, which offers a number of vacation attractions. Summer is our busy season.

Prior inn-keeping experience preferred but will consider hard working couple with excellent customer service, computer literacy, and housekeeping/maintenance skills.  Gross salary is $1600/month ($800 paid bi-weekly) plus free onsite living quarters with all utilities paid, a $1200 value. Total salary + value of living quarters+utilities+phone= $2800. Good job and honest work will earn pay increase. Absolutely NO drinking, drugs, and/or criminal activity in or around the motel. The local police are our friends and keep an eye out.

Responsibilities include online reservations, guest check in/out, front desk service, inventory/supplies management, online reservation system, housekeeping, and laundry duties. Computer skills are a must. Extra pay for maintenance work beyond the basic upkeep. Since this is an enclosed motel, no children or pets can be accommodated. Good salary with free living quarters w/ utilities for all work described above
