Estate Manager(s) - Barrington, IL,

Summary: Seeking individual(s) to manage animal care, and safety and security of the property when owners are traveling. This position requires 24/7/365 days availability. On-site cottage living space for a couple.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have knowledge of horses, with expertise in monitoring their health and knowing when to call the vet. No riding or training of horses is required, only grooming, feeding and care.

• Feeding & caring for other farm animals such as 2 donkeys, chickens, roosters, 2 dogs & a cat

• Maintain and manage the repair of tractors, trucks, and automobiles.

• Order supplies

• Run personal errands as needed such as shopping, etc…

• Provide airport transportation for drop-off and pick-up as needed.

Skills:

• Honest and trustworthy.

• Hard working, self-starter.

• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities.

• Ability to work with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

• Prefer single person or married couple without children or personal pets.

• 2-3 years knowledge of the basic principles and health practices of equine care is required.

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

• Background check required.
