FEATURED JOB OPENING: BECOME A FAMILY TEACHER! FAMILY HOME SERVICE - LOS ANGELES (WEST SIDE), CA

We are seeking houseparents to provide services and manage direct support in a Three Bedroom residential home.

Candidates need to be in a committed relationship, role models able to provide a loving and stable family home life. The position involves living in the home with four days on and three days off (on-call) each week. 24 hour support staff is provided. Duties include all aspects of living with three Adults (clients) in an engaged and loving manner, meal preparation, transportation, and maintenance of the home, all with the help of staff and clients. Training will be provided.

You should be committed to creating a supportive home environment and playing an active role in the lives of the adults in your care. Help with everything from transportation to laundry and meals when on duty. Parent will teach our clients basic life skills, positive behaviors, time and money management, and more. Transport clients to and from day treatment, appointments and on community outings. Be nurturing, provide firm limit setting and behavior management.

Experience in working with adults with intellectual disabilities is essential and preferably with management experience. Must have leadership skills, demonstrate sound values, organizational and problem solving skills.

Clear Driving Records and Background check is essential.

60.000 per couple, free housing/utilities/transportation. Plus Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
