Join the team at one of the nation’s top rated RV resort properties, located on the water by Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay. Our resort provides a high level of amenities and services including over 1200 luxury RV sites and rental cottage accommodations in the historic harbor town of Urbanna.
The resort features a large scale water park, camp store, restaurant, catering, recreation center, reception facility, Hewick Plantation special events, maintenance department, 400 slip marina, RV sales office, miniature golf course, expansive grounds and infrastructure.
We are seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:
• Resort Maintenance Manager
o The Resort Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and appearance of all resort facilities and grounds for a large multi-faceted property with high seasonal, weekend, and holiday demands.
o Must possess extensive experience in utility maintenance including electric, water, sewer and septic systems, HVAC, and pumps.
o Salaried-exempt, full-time, year-round.
o In-season: 6-days per week (Approximately 48-60 hours), Off-season: 5-days per week (Approximately 40-48 hours per week).
o Must reside onsite or in the town of Urbanna, VA within minutes of the resort.
o BS degree or technical training in facilities and/or grounds maintenance.
o Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance or similar field, 5 of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional staff.
• Front Desk Manager
o The Front Desk Manager is responsible for providing a first-class guest experience for Front Desk and Camp Store of a large multi-faceted campground resort.
o Campground or hospitality experience preferred for supervising and training year-round and seasonal staff. Experience with Campground Manager or similar campground reservation software preferred.
o Salaried-exempt, full-time, year-round.
o In-season: 6-days per week (Approximately 48-60 hours), Off-season: 5-days per week (Approximately 40-48 hours per week).
o Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in hospitality or similar field, 2 of which were holding a supervisory experience.
• Cottage & Housekeeping Manager
o The Cottage Manager is responsible for scheduling, supervising, and training the housekeeping staff and ensures the cleanliness and readiness of all Resort facilities with a primary focus on rental cottages, bath houses, office spaces, & event facilities.
o Rental cottage, housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
o Salaried-exempt, full-time, year-round. o In-season: 6-days per week (Approximately 48-60 hours), Off-season: 5-days per week (Approximately 40-48 hours per week).
o Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in hospitality or similar field, 2 of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional staff.
