Family Teaching Parents - Chelsea, AL

We are a faith based program located in beautiful Chelsea, Alabama.  We are seeking married couples who want to truly make a difference in the lives of youth.  We serve boys and girls ages 12 to 18 years old in group home settings.  Youth attend public schools.  Family Teaching Parents live on site in the assigned home in a private built in apartment.  

We provide loving, nurturing homes to children that have experienced multiple placements and often abuse and/or neglect.  We provide counseling, equine therapy and art therapy to the youth. 

Responsibilities include providing supervision of and teaching to youth using our specificed program, oversight of other staff in the home, managing home budget,  completing documentation and ministering to the youth.

Mature, Christian couple at least 25 years of age and married at least 2 years.   Housing expenses, health/dental  insurance paid for by minsitry.  Other benefits included.
