Assistant Caretaker/Laborer Couple - Kodiak, AK

Needed immediately! Looking for an able-bodied, hard-working couple or two individuals for assistant caretaker/laborer positions at Port William Wilderness Lodge. Located on beautiful Shuyak Island, accessible by float plane or boat only. The area is a world class hunting and fishing paradise, and the lodge is the only private property on the island.  Duties include carpentry and painting, cutting and hauling firewood, maintenance & fueling of skiffs, maintaining fishing gear, cooking, cleaning and daily maintenance of lodge.  Experience with chainsaw, generators, carpentry tools & equipment is a must. A general knowledge of plumbing, electrical & hydro power is a plus.

This is a NO Smoking/NO Drinking position. Drug testing for pre-employment, random and for cause. Position is full-time and permanent and is available immediately. Starting compensation is monthly salary, with room and board provided, and any tips received.
