FEATURED JOB OPENING: Elder Care and Assistance with Cooking and Gardening - Las Vegas, NM

We are looking for a couple to provide elder care and assistance with home maintenance and gardening (perhaps, at your choice, assistance with ranch work) on our family ranch. The primary care is for for my widowed mother, age 87. Our ranch is located in the beautiful mountains of northeastern NM, about 25 miles north of Las Vegas NM. My mother is actve (she uses a walker) and wonderfully intelligent and engaging.  She needs some personal help (gettng on shoes etc.) and help with cooking and cleaning as well as maintenance of her home and surrounding gardens. She has two dogs.

We offer a trailer home (located several hundred yards from her home), utilities, assistance with health care premiums, a fair salary, two days off per week and a truly beautliful place to live and enjoy the extraordinary nature and wildlife. The ranch runs cattle and horses (the job doesn't require ranch work) and the wildlife (elk, deer, anterlope, and varied bird species) is abundant.
