Group Home Parents - Vero Beach, FL
The primary purpose of group home parents is to establish a home-like environment to sibling groups ranging in age from 0-17. The group home parents will assist the children/youth in learning life skills, how to deal with problems and observe positive life and relationship activities. The group home parents are professional parents that will set a good example of adult behaviors.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university in Human Services or related field. (Degree requirements may be waived on a case by case basis with approval from the Compliance Officer. At a minimum, all Group Home Parents will be required to have a High School Diploma or GED and significant experience working with children.)

Two years experience providing direct services to children, youth and their families

Certification in CPR/First Aid

Must pass a level two background and drug test

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Flexible schedule and availability

Valid FL drivers license
-
Insurance clearance to trasport children in agency vehicles.
