WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
The overall Caretakers job is to keep the Ranch and all the amenities in first class condition and make prompt repairs and perform the maintenance requirements as needed. There will also be requests from the Owner from time to time and to assist the Owner as requested.
It is very difficult to put all the requirements in a list or summary for Da’ Ranch, due to ever changing needs and things stop functioning correctly for one reason or another. However, it’s like taking care of their own home on a Ranch. Some of the routine items are outlined below…
- Keep all the structures cleaned inside and outside, including the main house, the gazebos, decks, sports court, barn and shop.
- Keep front entrance clean, including the pillars, monument (mail boxes), gates, fence, planters, roads (weeds, rocks, animal poop, pillars, posts,
dirt water run-off, etc.), bridges (floors, railings, etc.).
- Help with daily routine for the animals (feed, water, count, review their condition etc.)…Work with the main person who cares for the animals.
- Take care of the Ranch dog.
- Help keep the weeds out of the pastures and keep the weeds out of the non-pasture areas.
- Prep and paint where needed and requested.
- Keep all equipment where needed or requested.
- Keep equipment cleaned and properly maintained.
- Clean waterfalls and ponds as needed, check lights on a regular basis and replace burnt out bulbs as needed.
- Replace burnt out light bulbs everywhere as needed.
- Prune-up low hanging limbs and heavy limbs of the trees.
- Burn trash on burn days.
- Occasional trip to the dump.
- General inside cleaning of the main house and other buildings to include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets etc.
- Check and repair gates/fence all over the Ranch as needed.
- Check the overall Ranch occasionally, including the upper pasture, other side of the creek, along the road, etc.
- Keep electric fences operating properly.
- Move goats around to eat non-mowing areas of the Ranch.
- Help with animal birth.
- Report or take action on any unusual happening.
- Work with a couple of horses and ride occasionally.2w
