Wilderness Retreat - Southern California Mountains, CA

We are looking for a couple to run our business, but what we need is a little unique. We are in southern ca but in the wilderness, completely off grid with luxury cottages where guests can unwind from the stresses of the city. The snow can get very deep, we are on a dirt road, and summers are AMAZING!. I guess what sets us apart is that we are looking for a couple, & we are looking for some pretty talented young people.

I need a girl that is web savvy, can sell a cabin stay and maybe a romance package, manage a housekeeper or two and keep them honest while obtaining cleaning perfection from them. She needs to be outgoing and friendly, able to carry on and lead a conversation with customers for 10-30 minutes, transforming them from customers to friends. She must be willing to be trained to bake amazing cinnamon rolls and other delicious breakfast treats for our newfound friends. She must be able to smooth a rare unhappy guests ruffled feathers. She must be willing to put her self interests last, and answer that (rare) phone call at 10pm with a smile and still help our potential new guest understand what an amazing place we have here at our ranch in the wilderness of southern ca mountains. We are 5 star on trip advisor and plan on staying that way so extra effort is required.

He must have mechanical aptitude. He does not need to be able to do everything needed, but it sure helps. He will plow snow in the winter, and both he and she will shovel snow. He can plunge a toilet and fix it if it is leaking. He can troubleshoot a water problem (being off grid all utilities are his responsibility) and repair it. He can run a generator and monitor electricity usage, starting the generator when appropriate. He can add water to batteries every two weeks Without Fail. He does not mind delivering breakfast baskets to the guests in the evening and lighting a pilot that has gone out at the same time. He can fix a leaky pipe or patch a little drywall hole. Maybe he can lay a few tiles that have broken. He has a can do attitude and a mechanical aptitude to go with it. Things break all the time, so he must be always ready for a repair or two or a maintenance item to be working on.

Both he and she are enthusiastic about life and what it has to offer them plus they want to learn and get ahead, and are excited about working for someone that will help them in getting there. They love the outdoors and can appreciate living in the middle of the wilderness, with all of its challenges on the one hand, but peace and tranquility on the other. They will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, and be willing to commit to one year.

The job comes with an amazing one bedroom two bath apt, with granite countertops, electric skylights, and amazing travertine double shower. It pays well for their young age group, free housing and all utilities, including high speed internet.

Compensation is $2500 a month TOTAL, with an additional bonus possibility based on gross revenue. It is a real Dream job for the right couple, which we believe are fairly rare. send resume(s) via email.
