Couple Caretaker Position for Small Farm - Castle Rock, CO

We are searching for a couple/team to help us take care of our poultry/horse/vermi-culture farm and homestead. Located in one of the most beautiful spots in all of Colorado, the position will include a lovely apartment (cozy but plenty of room for 2), all utilities, high speed internet, all channels on Directv, trash, water, etc.. There is also the possibility of having your own horses on-site and growing your own food. You will live at 7,000 ft with gorgeous views of the front range mountains. Fresh air, well water, and country living abound! Salary also available for extra hours worked over and above the equivalent value for apartment/amenities compensated.

In exchange for these amenities, we would require most of the caretaking requirements for our 40 acre farm. We have 3 horses, 350 rare breed chickens, raised vegetable gardening beds, beginning a vermi-culture business, own a large home on the homestead and a large equestrian facility. Responsibilities would include all land management needs for the property such as mowing and weed maintenance, gardening, care taking for 3+ horses, daily care of the chickens including help with business needs for the poultry enterprise, vermi-culture business assistance, and home management (cleaning, food prep, cooking).

This position could easily require 2 fulltime individuals (and then some) at certain times of the year. During winter months, the hours would be shorter. Flexibility in your availability to work and be a apart of our team is a must. Please inquire for more information.
