FEATURED JOB OPENING: Campground Manager (or Manager Couple) - Lancaster, NH
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Campground Manager (or Manager Couple)
Our Campground in Lancaster, New Hampshire is a privately-owned RV campground on 73 acres on the Connecticut River. Approximately 50-55 of our 85 sites will be seasonal campers, a very close-knit and friendly group of campers. The manager tasks are simplified as we do not have a store (there is a store outside the entrance) and we will have a separate activities coordinator and at least one work camper that will assist on some of the listed tasks. The manager couple will need to be onsite from April 16 to October 14. The manager or management couple will be responsible for running the campground, which consists primarily of the following tasks:
Continuous campground coverage (at least one day off per week)
Providing excellent friendly customer service
Checking in/out campers and visitors (registration, cell phone, credit cards, cash). We provide a cell phone with credit card capability, to help the managers stay mobile.
Policing campground for non-campers on grounds and/or fishing
Maintaining pool (water, pump, heat, etc.)
Ensuring cleanliness of bathrooms, laundry, pool, pavilion and grounds. Bathrooms are not heavily used as most seasonal campers use their own bathrooms.
Ensuring sites and common areas are trash free and dumpster is not overflowing
Enforcing rules, including quiet hours, pets, wood, etc.
Stocking and selling wood and propane
Collecting and recording laundry sales
Providing daily email/telephone update on occupancy, sales, issues, etc.
Immediately contacting us regarding any maintenance issues
Mowing, raking, trimming, etc. as necessary to keep campground neat and trim
Compensation will be negotiated and will include full hookup. Please email your resume(s), references, a photo, preferred compensation range and any other information via email. The email subject line should be "Campground Manager". You can also call for further information.
