We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated and loyal couple to manage and conduct maintenance for a couple mobile home parks.
Hi. My name is Ashley Mascarenas and my husband and I own three mobile home parks in Killeen, TX. We are looking for a couple to live onsite at one of the parks and take care of the maintenance and upkeep of the park as well as receive rent money and do other administrative tasks.
At one mobile home park, Oak Springs, we currently have 27 units rented. We have another 15 units at Brookfield and at Marlboro Heights we have another 45 or so units. These numbers are growing as we have many empty trailers/lots. For example, Oak Springs has about 75 trailers altogether but many need to be fixed up to be rented out.
Immediately starting out, you would be living at Oaks Springs and managing and providing maintenance to both Oak Springs and Brookfield. We would eventually like you to also run Marlboro Heights, but we're not sure if this would be too much for you, so this will be added later on.

Job Description:
Candidates must also be able to supervise the refurbishment and repair of mobile homes. The ability to perform light carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other minor repair projects is desired.
Duties will include administration, sales, some light maintenance and home repair as well as reviewing bids and effectively supervising and making decisions concerning contractors and laborers based on the quality of their work.
Administration duties will include:
- Rent collections, daily deposits, enforcement of due dates and late rent collections
- Rule enforcement and prompt addressing of customer issues
- Keeping customer information and issues up-to-date in software
- Managing home inventory, marketing and showing of homes, completing sales when necessary
- Overseeing maintenance workers, contractors and any other park personnel
Maintenance duties will include:
- Oversight of contractors and maintenance issues, reviewing bids and analyzing estimates
- Oversight of refurbishing and marketing of homes to be sold
- The ability to perform light maintenance duties without outside help is desirable, however it is vital to be able to know when to ask for help to avoid "biting off more than one can chew"
Candidates will be responsible for the overall management of the community and the supervision and management of employees, contractors, etc. We're looking for a hard-working, friendly, no-nonsense person or people who take pride in their work and their community.
This position will require a manager to work in the field and in the office between 5-8 hours per weekday. Flexibility to show homes to potential residents at other times is desired. If applying as a couple, the maintenance person will need to work in the office when possible to assist in managing the park.
