FEATURED JOB OPENING: Experienced Caretaker Couple or Individual - North Pittsburgh, PA

Private residence seeks an experienced Domestic Couple or Individual to provide support around the property and oversee all maintenance responsibilities.

Located in the North Pittsburgh area, this is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.  This position is a live-in, with separate accommodations provided on the property including utilities and cable/wireless internet.  Salary is dependent upon experience and capability.  Expected start date is October 1, 2014.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- providing hands-on housekeeping for multiple households on the property and periodically at a nearby cabin; this includes all aspects of regular and deep cleaning and some laundry.

- overseeing maintenance of household and property, including basic facilities tasks and minor handyman services; knowledge with HVAC,  plumbing, electrical, etc. a must!

- preparing and serving of some daily meals for owners and occasional guests; regular grocery shopping and maintaining inventory of household supplies

- culinary skills with some experience in presentation and hosting special events; providing hospitality to guests as required

- management of all landscaping and exterior maintenance, including vegetable garden and plants/flowers, pond, pavilion, trails and more

- caring, maintaining and cleaning for owner vehicles, includes automobiles, tractors, ATVs; experience with boats a plus.

- coordinating outside contractors or vendors as required

- minimal driving of owners or guests

- other special requests as needed

Requirements:

- 2-5 years experience each working at a private residence

- excellent references (will be checked)

- ability to work independently and also as a team

- working knowledge of all areas of property maintenance and management

- flexible scheduling with ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

- valid driver's license with clean driving record

- clean credit history and criminal background (check will be performed)

- Legally able to work in the United States
