FEATURED JOB OPENING: Mobile Home Community Management Couple - Flagstaff, AZ

We are a small family mobile home community (51 spaces) about 3 miles outside of Flagstaff, AZ, situated in a rural setting. Tenants own their own homes, so we only rent spaces. We are seeking a couple to live in a house on site and manage the community.

We need one person to be available Monday – Thursday, 1-6 p.m., with weekends off. They will need to be able to respond to emergencies (few) outside of these hours. We are looking for a couple so that they can team-tag and work together on certain tasks, such as reading water meters, handing out bills and notices, and so on. The office person needs to be efficient on the computer (QuickBooks, Word, Excel) to do billing, receiving and depositing rent checks, processing applications, and enforcing our Rules and Regulations. Maintenance includes simple monthly service to the septic system, maintaining the grounds and playground, some tree trimming, mowing and snow shoveling (we contract with someone to plow snow), and some other projects. 

Seven years ago, we took early retirement from our career jobs (teacher and social worker) in order to return to our hometown and help manage the family business. We have owned and managed our little community for the last five years and have done a lot to upgrade it and we need someone who will keep it up.

We are seeking a couple we can work closely with and who will serve our little community with compassion and fairness. We need a non-smoking couple with no pets, as this is a no-pet community. We are looking for a couple to begin January 1, 2015. This job provides the opportunity to reside in a house in a beautiful place and work part-time to supplement your income.
