Beautifully maintained property for the right caretakers - Shreveport, West, state line area, LA

Long established Shreveport, Louisiana fishing and hunting club (125 acres, including a 75-acre lake) seeks live-on-property caretaker(s).  Ideal for a young-at-heart retired couple, duties include maintenance of common areas of the club grounds (mowing, weed-eating, providing firewood, maintaining fencing, debris removal, etc.), maintenance of equipment, maintenance of two houses on the property and housekeeping of two houses on the property when utilized by members (frequency varies, additional compensation above salary for cleaning services), and an opportunity to provide maintenance services for eight additional campsites leased to members offering potential of significant additional income.  Other duties as assigned.  Must be on property and available six days a week.  Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and light construction helpful. 

Salary plus separate private lake-view lodging and cell phone provided, utilities paid by caretaker.  All maintenance equipment provided.  Reimbursement for club-related expenses, including fuel, parts, etc.  

Requirements:  Valid driver’s license, ability to pass thorough background check, legally able to work in the U.S., no criminal background, and must read, write and speak English, and regular communication with Club President is essential, but the job is largely unsupervised and offers flexible work hours, the focus of the Club being a well-maintained property.
