FEATURED JOB OPENING: Relief Home Parents (Married Couple) - Itasca, TX

The Relief Home Parent (RHP) couple provides direct care services for the children in placement at Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services.  The RHP will provide 24 hour, 7-day-a-week coverage for children in a foster group home for extended periods of time.  The RHP will establish and perpentuate a homelike environment which includes both behavioral and emotional warmth and acceptance.  The RHP will insure the physical safety and well being of children in agency care and promote their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social growth and developement.  The RHP will supervise daily habits of children, training new skills as necessary or desirable.  The RHP will work cooperatively with other staff and will particiate in campus programs and committees as assigned.

Job Requirements:  Minimum education- High School Graduate, one or more years post high school education required.  Prefer two years of experience wiorking with children.
