FEATURED JOB OPENING: Work Camper Hosts - 2 days a week - Elko (near Perry), GA

We are in need of a friendly work-camper couple to join our Twin Oaks team, and support our resident managers.

We are a 70 site RV park, located in Elko, Georgia, near the National Fairgrounds in Perry, GA. The park accommodates overnight guests as well as weekly and monthly guests. We are an easy-access big-rig park with additional sites for smaller trailers and tent camping, near I-75 at State Rt 26. Although you can't see the highway, you do hear some highway noise, however overall, we are fairly rural with lots of trees. Our RV park is one of the friendliest places around, and it's safe and neat (check out our reviews online). The historic town of Perry is about 8 miles up the road, with the very busy Georgia fairgrounds just 7 miles away. One person would work in the office/camp store. This requires experience in taking telephone reservations and posting them (paper and pencil style) in our reservation book, store operation (cash register), accounting for money, and great customer relation skills.

The other would be in a general maintenance position, working under our resident manager. This includes knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general RV park maintenance as well as leading RVs into their site with a golf cart, cheerfully helping our guests and answering questions. We also have a pool and jacuzzi hot tub that require a bit of daily maintenance, which you can easily be trained to do.

Both must be physically fit, work well with others, and be willing and able to take direction. We all work as a team here at Twin Oaks and our resident managers are always there to help and support you if needed.

We offer a nice compensation package in exchange for your two days a week of work. You will have a premium RV site with 50/30 electrical service, water, sewer, wi/fi, a laundry allowance, and free propane. Plus, you are paid an additional monthly stipend of $400 per couple.

Our resident managers are flexible as to which two days you work. Currently, the schedule is set for Sundays and Mondays.
