FEATURED JOB OPENING: Property Manager (or Team) for Active 55+ Resort - Mesa, AZ

We are seeking a skilled Property Manager or Property Management Team to join our growing group of professionals at Cal-Am Resorts. The Property Manager(s) will primarily be focused on managing the financial, physical, and social aspects of the community. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Regional Manager.

Job Responsibilities 

The Property Manager is responsible for promoting and supporting a team culture that provides exceptional customer service on an everyday basis. The Property Manager will hire, train, and motivate on-site personnel, as well as supervise all staff in order to achieve operational goals.

In addition, the Property Manager(s) should be highly energetic and embrace the active and community-focused lifestyle provided by Cal-Am Resorts.

Other responsibilities for the Property Manager will include:

·         Maintain the community common areas and curb appeal, including roads, common buildings, amenities, and equipment.

·         Prepare and work within an annual budget, including variance reporting and planning to achieve managerial objectives.

·         Interface with Activity Director to plan and coordinate resort activities.

·         Maintain records of all tenant-related and accounting-related activities. Interface with the corporate office regarding payables and receivables. Submit required reports to the corporate office in a timely fashion on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

·         Market the community to target markets. Utilize digital, print, and other advertising sources creatively to drive high quantity and quality traffic.

·         Provide consistent education and enforcement of all rules and regulations of the community. Report rule violations promptly with plans to correct the violations.

·         Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed.

 Requirements

Property Manager for Active 55+ Resort

Due to the fast paced nature of the job, we need the Property Manager to be highly organized and able to multi-task proficiently. In addition, the ideal Property Manager must bring a positive attitude to the team and residents every day.

Other requirements for the Property Manager include:

·         College Degree preferred.

·         Required to live on-site (housing provided).

·         Proven track record of success.

·         Demonstrated mastery of Sales, Marketing, Financial, and Managerial skills.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·         Strong work ethic and a self-starter.

·         Valid driver's license.

·         Outgoing and pleasant demeanor, willing to go the extra mile, and focused on creating exceptional customer experiences.

·         Ability to hire, train, and motivate a highly effective team.

·         Willingness to confront issues in a professional manner and work with others to resolve conflict.

·         Rounded knowledge of building trades, including plumbing, electric, gas systems, rough and finish construction, and landscaping.

·         Project management experience a plus.

·         Experience with Yardi Voyager a plus.
