Self Storage Management Couple - Shreveport, LA

We are looking for a couple to manage a large facility in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. Compensation to include on-site housing. The selected team will report directly to a District Manager.
Essential Functions Include:
• Meet gross revenue targets set forth by the company ownership, through effective sales and marketing activities.
• Maintain designated office hours.
• Provide outstanding customer service in person and via telephone.
• Maintain professional, courteous relationships with existing and prospective customers, company vendors, community business members and company staff.
• Maintain financial reporting and bookkeeping systems provided by employer.
• Daily surveillance of property to ensure protection of customers’ stored possessions, as well as company property and buildings.
• Keep property clean and in good repair at all times.
• Supervise any additional staff, such as relief managers or any other designated personnel.
• Make bank deposits, purchase supplies and services as needed.
• Complete any collection activities that may be required of delinquent accounts.
• Any other duties designated by the district manager.
Work Skills: Basic computer operation in windows including experience using a self storage software application. Understanding of an automated gate system.
Experience: Prior self storage experience required. Office skills, communication, familiar with office machines. Sales skills preferred. Cash handling and telephone skills.
Qualifications: Good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping. Extensive knowledge of self storage industry law. Successful record of accomplishment of sales and marketing skills in the self storage industry. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Employment is also subject to the satisfactory results of a background check.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
