Couple Team needed to care for and maintain a beautiful 300 acre property in western MA for a family of four who visit the property on weekends, holidays and full time during the summer. This is a full-time position for an experienced, committed couple with a strong desire and understanding for rural, country living. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning and caring for the house (4,500sf under construction to be completed in April) two guest cottages, laundry  shopping, handyman services, vehicle and equipment maintenance, some errands and driving, and generally serve the family while they are in residence and the property when they are not. Provide complete animal care on regular animal caretaker’s days off; feeding and cleaning enclosures for horses, sheep, donkeys, chickens and rabbits; with primary responsibility for the well being of the animals as this team will be the only staff members living on site. Must be able to maintain and operate all necessary equipment; snow plow, tractor and mower. Maintain privacy and security for the family, check and repair fencing, mowing, prune trees and maintain vegetable and flower gardens. Basic trade skills are required for repairs and upkeep of property. Excellent communication, inventory and financial record-keeping skills are required to report regularly and directly to employers. Ensure property is prepared for owners and guests to enjoy at all times. Looking for a couple with a natural love of animals and children, and living in a farm setting. Charming, freshly painted home with new appliances and hardwood floors provided on site, plus a truck for work purposes. Salary 90-100K for the right long-term experienced couple and will include health insurance.
