Innkeeper(s) Catskill Mountains - Windham, NY

We are seeking an experienced innkeeper (or couple) to run and manage an eight-room, bed and breakfast in the Northern Catskill Mountains, Windham, New York.

Benefits include:
* weekly salary
* housing with utilities included (1350 sq ft, two bedroom apartment, on property)
* Profit sharing -- up to 25% of annual profit will be shared with the head innkeeper
* Vacation -- two twelve day vacations (April & November) and one five day vacation (flexible) per year

Duties include:

1) Primary responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Lodge;
2) Interior and exterior maintenance and cleanliness of the property;
3) Financial recordkeeping for and monthly reporting to the ownership;
4) Development and implementation of marketing strategies;
5) Implementation of yield management to maximize room revenue;
6) Management of subcontractors as needed;
7) Consultation with ownership in developing budgets, growth plans, and operating analyses;
8) Maintaining and promoting relationships with Chambers of Commerce, local businesses and organizations; and,
9) Other as mutually agreed upon with ownership.

Other Info: Our Lodge is located 1.5 miles from Windham Mountain ski report and 8 miles from Hunter Mountain ski resort. Peak hospitality season is the ski season running from early December to early April. Fall foliage season is peak running from mid-September to late-October. The July/August summer months are strong with a variety of local festivals and other events. Slow months are April, early May and November.
