Housekeeper & Handyman for a Seattle Estate - Seattle, WA

Start Date: When the right match is found. 
Hours: Average of 16-24 hours/week, set schedule with the flexibility to work extra hours on occasion to assist the owners with preparing for guests and/or parties.
Pay: $25 per hour or more (based on experience and qualifications). 
Location: Capitol Hill, Seattle
Pets: None
Other household staff: Full-time nanny, organizer 1 day/week, gardener, landscaper and occasional service man/contractor.

Job Description: Detailed housekeeping, deep cleaning and organization of a beautiful home. The homeowners are looking for (preferably) a husband/wife couple with an established working relationship and sensible division of labor. This is a big job and it makes more sense to have two people tackle it together; this also makes for easier maintenance. The position includes full charge of the housekeeping/cleaning, sweeping porches and doorways, maintaining and re-stocking housekeeping supplies, managing vendors and communicating with the homeowners on a regular basis.



Main Duties: Daily light cleaning & straightening, weekly deep cleaning & light laundry/ironing, monthly deep cleaning projects, organizing projects (i.e. pantry/drawers/cupboards), light household errands & management of vendors.
Experience caring for high-end surfaces/materials/art work. 

Requirements:

Must have previous housekeeping experience in private residences
Must have a minimum of 3 relevant references who we can speak to by phone
Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job 
Must be legal to work in the US.
Willing to submit to a comprehensive background check
Must be able to communicate well in English (written and verbal)
Must be able to commit long term to the position
