We are seeking a dynamic working couple to operate and manage a team for a very special mountain accommodation located on the Bow Valley Parkway between Banff and Lake Louise. This 35 unit property is open year round and has 19 individual log chalets and 16 lodge suites located in two separate lodge buildings. Facilities also include a full service gym with steam and sauna, Heritage Centre with meeting space, library and reception area and on site staff accommodation. Summer and Christmas are peak operating seasons.
This couple will possess excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills. As the integral part of the management team, they will be an ambitious self-motivator and results-orientated leader. The General Lodge Managers are responsible for all aspects of the operation, including front desk management, sales & marketing for leisure and corporate markets, operational and financial controls, experience and hands on knowledge of preventative maintenance and repairs, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, and developing and retaining a strong team. The Lodge Manager will report to the owner.
The ideal candidates have experience working in a small or boutique hotel or similar executive team experience at a larger property. Proven track record to achieve and exceed goals. We are searching for high energy positive individuals that are hands on focused and have a passion for their work and life.
Exceptional service skills and a passion for serving others * Proficient with current technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) * Experience and knowledge of general maintenance, heating and plumbing systems.
