Farm Couple Team - Western MA

Couple Team needed to maintain a 300 acre retreat property in western MA for a couple with two young children living in Cambridge. This is a full-time position for an intelligent dedicated authentic farm team who  embrace this lifestyle and enjoy caring for 6-8 horses and various other farm animals on the property including sheep, chickens. Maintain owners' current 1,200sf home on the property and the other structures on the property; guest cottage, garage, and barn. Oversee and liaison with family throughout construction of 7,500sf home and 500 sq ft studio. Must be able to maintain and operate all necessary farm equipment while practicing preventative maintenance habits with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical repairs. Conduct research assisting owners with purchases and land management programs. Other responsibilities include full housekeeping and maintaining owners' home; clean & prepare home before arrival, clean after departure, deferred cleaning projects in their absence, laundry-change linens, restock household staples-inventory control, purchase fresh groceries, and occasionally prepare healthful family meals.  Welcome owners and ensure their time on property is well spent. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
