Workamping for the Summer of 2024 - Dorchester, IA

Office Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service both in person and on the phone
• Assist with reservations for camping and cabins and enforce the cancellation policy
• Schedule river rentals/shuttles
• Check in guests
• Attend to the computer/cash register 
• Serve concessions (ice cream cones, pizza, etc)
• Keep the office and restrooms clean
• Clean cabins after check out and keep the laundry going
• Other duties as needed

Grounds Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service 
• Assist campers as needed
• Drive the shuttle vans to drop off tubers/canoes/kayaks. Assist guests with unloading and loading canoes/kayaks with the ability to lift half a canoe (35 lbs) over your head.
• Assist with keeping the campground clean 
• Mow/trim grass and landscaping
• Operate a utility tractor
• Minor repairs around the campground
• Pump out seasonal campers tanks
• Other duties as needed
