Are you looking for a fun adventure in a great vacation area next summer?  We are looking for a couple or single person to help us out as a work camper this summer.  The ideal person must be flexible, friendly, self-motivated, easy-going, able to work without a lot of direct supervision, see what needs to be done and do it, and enjoy variety in their day.  We are especially looking for someone who enjoys landscaping, gardening, mowing, doing maintenance, light carpentry, etc.  Prefer someone who has roots in Minnesota or the Midwest but not necessary. We are a pet-friendly park, so your well-behaved pets are welcome and you should enjoy being around dogs.  

ABOUT US:  We are very flexible and easy-going, "go with the flow" kind of people and enjoy being around and work best with other people who are similar personality.  Being a smaller, newer park, you just never know what will come up, so jack-of-all-trades types and those who like variety in life would fit in great!  Todd is a very hands-on type of owner/manager and likes to be involved in many aspects of the business, so he is around a lot.  Jill is more involved with managing the golf course clubhouse, marketing, and bookkeeping aspect of our businesses, along with running her own separate business. 

ABOUT OUR AREA:  If you are not familiar with this part of Minnesota, we are the "Lakes Area" of "The Land of 10,000 Lakes", which tells you how many lakes we have.  We have over 400 lakes in our county and dozens of golf courses within a short distance.  The famous Whitefish Chain of Lakes is just down the road, with access within a few miles of the RV Park.  The Gull Lake Chain of Lakes is about 15 miles away.  And hundreds of smaller lakes are all over.  So if you enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking or anything to do with water, this is the place to be.  We are also located on the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail and Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway for great biking and hiking for hundreds of miles.  For more info on the area, go to www.explorebrainerdlakes.com.  

In exchange for hosting 3-4 days/week (We are only 31 sites, so we do not require office hours, just being available around the property, checking people in/out, light cleaning, etc. It's pretty laid back), we include your FHU site, including sewer hookup, water hookup, wifi, cable tv (workamper will be responsible for their electric use). We prefer work in exchange for site with possibly some part-time additional paid hours, but probably don't want someone who requires full-time hours, but are open to anything if it fits our needs.  We are open approximately May 1 - Oct 1 depending on weather. However, when we really need people would be about May 15 thru Sept 15, with Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend being prime time.  We are flexible! Includes free golf and mini golf for you and your immediate family, discounted for guests.
