Couple For The 2020 Season For Our Beautiful Sunset Lake Park $$
This is approximately a part-time, multi-task position. We are open May 15, 2020 through September 13, 2020. We have 17 primitive sites available for campers and one full hook-up site for our Host Couple (Couple with an RV is a requirement), a pavilion with a modern kitchen and 2 modern flush bathrooms that each have 1 shower/1 toilet. A washing machine is available for our Host’s convenience. Compensation for responsibly fulfilling the following duties for the season includes the free RV full hook-up site and $325 per month (pro-rated for ½ months). Required Duties to be preformed as needed 8:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week. You will not be required to be “on duty” entire time as personal time can be taken during the day as tasks are completed. Duties • Open & Close W. Park Drive gates AM & PM • Maintain calendar & other records as needed to accept campsite & pavilion • reservations.• Collect campground fees from Campers. Provide a copy of campsite • regulations/ordinance to Campers and Pavilion Renters. • Collect deposits & fees from Pavilion Renters. • Document collection of all monies as required by Bates Township Treasurer. • Turn in monies & corresponding receipts on a weekly basis to Bates • Township Treasurer. In the absence of Treasurer, turn in monies and receipts to the Bates Township Clerk. • Make sure the Pavilion is unlocked and ready for Renters. Inspect, clean and lock Pavilion after the Renters are gone. • Clean bathrooms & showers daily and keep the bathrooms supplied with • toiletries. When the days get busy this may need to be done twice a day. • Monitor beach & park areas. Keep them clean of litter and animal waste. Redirect pet owners off beach to designated pet area. Empty garbage cans as needed. • Handle sale of firewood (if available). • Maintain a good rapport with campers, boaters & other park visitors. • Monitor the boat wash to assure that boaters are using it. • All above referenced duties are requirements of the position but not limited to
