Volunteer Camp Host Position at Lake Wenatchee State Park - Leavenworth, WA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Lake Wenatchee State Park, 20 miles east of Stevens Pass in the Cascade Mountains, is seeking to fill volunteer camp host positions for the 2016 summer season. The 500 acre park includes about a mile of shoreline, substantial acreage of undeveloped forest, hiking, biking, guided horseback rides, a swim beach, camp store, group camp, amphitheater, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and much more...
The park is divided by the Wenatchee River, which flows out of Lake Wenatchee. The Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, located 20 miles southeast of the park, offers all the basic services of a popular tourist destination. The city of Wenatchee (population of about 50,000), located 42 miles southeast of the park, offers all of the amenities normally associated with a mid-sized city.
Our hosts receive free camping and hookups (water, sewer, & 50 amp electrical service) in exchange for performing their host duties. Hosts must provide their own RV and camping equipment. A typical host assignment is 30 days. Hosts should enjoy working with the public, have the desire to accept new challenges, and possess the willingness to learn about Washington state parks. The host program requires a minimum of 28 hours of work per week, with two consecutive days off from Monday through Thursday. We are flexible in how you schedule your time, but we are in particular need of help from Friday evening through Sunday and generally expect that our hosts are available at these times.
We have the following months available. Please contact the park with interest or questions.

Mosquitoes can be present, and weather is typically in the 50-60’s with occasional rain.
