Summer Lakefront Resort Manager(s) - Monticello, IN

We are looking for two good souls to run our small lakefront resort property all summer. The ideal candidate is required to move to Monticello, IN (2 hours south of Chicago, 1.5 hours north of Indy) and live in a furnished lake home full time from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and weekends in May, September and October (spouses, partners, immediate dependents invited also). The chosen candidate(s) would also have the option to live in the home full time, year round if desired.

This position is perfect fit for a person, couple or family that is semi retired, freelancers, handymen, writers or anyone that desires a fun career in the summer and time off in the fall,winter, and spring to pursue other passions all while living in a beautiful expense free lake home.

WHAT WE NEED:

Guest Service

A sparkling personality and a good soul to warmly greet our guests summer after summer.
Basic computer skills required for front-desk check in & check outs
Answer all phone and email inquiries
Assist guests with maps & local dining/entertainment suggestions
Problem solving to ensure guests are having fun while still following the rules
Managing rental of the boats

Manage Cleaning Crew

Scheduling room cleanings with the crew
Details matter. Complete a final check list on each cottage before check in.

Oversee Property & Grounds

Keep the grounds looking fresh and inviting
Make sure landscaping contractors are performing on time
Keep the property in good working order. Fix small issues, and contact local vendors for larger projects.
Willingness to complete simple property maintenance tasks & projects (painting, etc..)

Pool

Daily maintenance of pool & water testing
