Small Farm GARDENING/Landscaping Opening for Volunteer/WorkTrade Couple - Mouth of Wilson, VA

We are seeking a GREEN THUMB COUPLE to help our small family farm continue to be more and more self-sufficient.  Your job would be to work 25 hrs a week (longer hours less days or shorter hours more days, whatever works).  You would be asked to  create, maintain and cultivate a garden on our farm with grow boxes, green house (already built) and outside summer garden too, we also have a small Muscadine Vineyard and a few apple trees as well as some blue berry, blackberry and raspberry bushes to maintain as well.  Then help preserve the food, dry-can-freeze etc. We also have a farm family milk cow and goat and you might be asked to take your turn on the milk schedule too. 

IN EXCHANGE we would provide you with a full hookup for your camper/motorhome etc (water/elect/sewer and internet). Your hookup spot is tucked into the woods in a fairly private setting nearby our mothers cabin (where she has a couple small dogs, a mini horse, goats and chickens.  You could eat from the garden you are helping build/maintain and we would also be able to give a small allowance of $200/month.  So you need to be financially stable or work from home via internet etc.

Our Farm is family operated and we have another maintenance worktrade couple living here with us as well.  We operate airbnb rentals on the farm as well as raising and rescuing many animals including horses, cows, yak, goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, rabbits etc. etc.  We have 67 acres nestled into the Appalachian Mountains only 4 miles from Grayson Highlands State Park!  Mt Rogers Wilderness Area, White Top Mountain, The New River, The Virginia Creeper Trail, The Appalachian Trail etc are all very close by!  In your time of or days off you can enjoy exploring this vast and wonderful area!

Seeking a couple that is looking for a quiet like-minded place to stay short-term or long-term.  No drugs, no parties, no shennanigans.  Sorry no children (kids may visit as in grandkids etc) but we are not setup for them to live on the farm.
