Our community is located in Merritt Island, Florida within 15 minutes to the beach. We have a mix of owner-occupied and rented manufactured homes. We are a 55 and older community.
Our community has a great group of Residents and operates very easily. This position is great for a person or a team who already has some sort of regular income but would like to work a little for other compensation.
Overview
The management office is open Monday-Friday in the mornings. The manager is on-call for appointments and emergencies. We would ideally like team/someone who is around a lot so that they can keep an eye on things even when the office is not open.
The management position requires showing prospective residents available homes for sale and for rent when available, handling applications, and administering paperwork. The manager also handles move-in/move-out activity, for example, determining what needs to be fixed and cleaned after a resident moves out and then scheduling the maintenance work to be completed (park-owned homes). Additionally, the manager collects rent, updates accounting records, handles rule violations and notices, organizes some Resident activities, and communicates with contractors and off-site management. Computer work is required.
The management position may be shared or handled by one person.
Maintenance and/or cleaning work may be arranged as needed for a second person or same person for additional pay.
We are looking for team/individual that will live onsite. Long-term position. No smoking. Pets under 25 lbs at maturity will be considered.
Compensation
Management compensation includes housing, electric stipend, and salary valued at $1800 per month. Potential to earn leasing and sales commission on park home rentals and sales when available.
When available, maintenance/cleaning paid hourly based on experience. (If a team member is wanting more work, additional maintenance/cleaning work may be available at a nearby sister community).
