The position:
The Resident Property Manager is key to our success, and must be professional, friendly and knowledgeable. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the storage facility. You will spend your workday split between office tasks, patrolling the property and indoor/outdoor maintenance. We would like someone who is dedicated and looking for a long-term position.
***PLEASE NOTE*** This is a Resident Property Manager position, meaning the employee is required to live onsite. The compensation package includes onsite housing and paid utilities (water, gas and electric).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their storage needs
- Convey features and benefits of our storage facility to all customers
- Maintain an exceptionally clean facility, including the outside maintenance
- Patrol facility on a continual daily basis, both inside and outside
- General office: administrative work, data entry, answer phones, update customer files
- Execute all documents associated with reservations
- Process payments
- Organize and maintain supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Moderate computer skills: Microsoft Office, storage internet-based software a plus
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk around: Property is 12 acres
- Must be able to work full time/weekends/on-call
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Management: 3 years (Required)
- Storage Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
