The position:
This is an great job opportunity for one FULL-TIME (40hrs/week) and one PART-TIME (20hrs/week) Resident Management TEAM/COUPLE to manage our Self Storage. The Resident Managers are the key to our success and must be professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They are responsible for the daily operation of the storage facility. You will spend the workday split between office tasks, patrolling the property and maintenance. We would like a couple that is dedicated and looking for a long term position. Position to be filled immediately.
***Please Note*** This is a Residential Property Manager position, meaning the employees are required to live onsite. The compensation package includes onsite housing and paid utilities.
Benefits and Compensation:
- 40 hour work week (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)
- Salaried Position ($40k-46k for couple)
- 2 bedroom, 1300 SF apartment with patio
- Utilities included (water, electric, phone, internet)
- Free 10 x 20 unit
- Earn 1 weeks paid vacation every 6 months after first 6 months
- Major holidays off
Managers responsibilities:
- Maintain the company’s goodwill and provide great customer service.
- Rent storage units and prepare leases
- Ensure the facility is clean and well maintained at all times
- Light maintenance and landscaping duties (ie. weed control, raking pine needles, repair door seals, tape insulation tears, cut locks etc. )
- Maintain accurate accounting of all revenues collected from rents, retail sales and deposit in a timely manner
- Invoicing, collecting rents and handling delinquent accounts
- Handle all aspects of operating a Self Storage facility in a professional and business-like manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Positive , can-do attitude
- Basic handyman capabilities
- Moderate computer skills: Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn management software (Sitelink)
- Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
- Customer Service: 3 years (required)
- Property Management: 3 years (required)
- Storage Facility: 3 year (preferred)
