Storage West has an immediate opening for a facility management team at a San Diego area facility.
Each member of the 2 person team must submit a resume in order for the team to be considered for this position. The resident managers will share an onsite company provided apartment. Candidates must be able to accomodate the District Manager's in-person interview schedule with in the next two weeks. No out of state candidates, please.
Resident manager teams are responsible for the operation of the facility, including providing outstanding customer service, renting storage spaces, marketing our facility to the community, data entry, filing, answering and responding to telephone calls, banking, keeping the facility neat, clean, and organized, directing associate managers and more.
Experience working in the self storage industry or property management is a plus. Prior customer service experience is required. Must be friendly and outgoing, honest, organized, ability to accept constructive criticism, ability to learn and accept training, ability to work in an office and on the grounds, problem solver, and more. Some maintenance skills would be a plus. Computer skill is required.
