SELF STORAGE MANAGEMENT TEAM - Chewelah, WA

We are a small family owned self storage facility in Chewelah, WA established since 1989.  We are looking for an upbeat, positive and functional semi-retired or retired couple to be the on-site managers of appox. 130 unit facility in the quartzite mountains of Washington State.  This position requires superior customer service, so being comfortable interacting with the general public is essential for this job.

A college degree is not required for this job, however some skills required for this postion are:

• honesty & strong moral character along with a zealous drive
• basic computer knowledge/recordkeeping /(Quickbooks 2012 & Microsoft Office Programs) w/attention to detail
• excellent telephone & people skills
• basic handyman skills and knowledge of snowplowing equipment (skidsteer)

This position requires living on-site. Benefits are, but are not limited to, paid holidays, paid vacation, basic utilities and housing are provided. Chewelah is 45 mi north of Spokane,WA (GEG Int'l Airport) with a boasting 29 lakes/ rivers, ski-hill, national forest, hunting/fishing, boating/camping, country club golfing,and local hospital all within a 20 mide radius.  The infamous Columbia River that offers white water rafting is 30 minutes to the north, followed by British Columbia, CA to the north of it.  This is a beautiful mountain packed, seasonal area boasting with a farmer's market, annual car shows, and festivals in the local quaint park with streams running through town. This rural community is a large equestrian area with seasonal shows, competitions and horse trails.
