Storage West self storage (storagewest.com) has an immediate opening for a resident manager TEAM for our Baseline Tempe facility. We are seeking a 2 person team, wherein each person will work 40 hours per week.
Each member of the team must submit a resume in order for the team to be considered for this position. Both members of the team must have relevant experience and be available for in person interviews in Phoenix. The resident managers will share an on site apartment (provided).
The ideal Team will have have prior self storage or property management experience. Bilingual English/Spanish for at least one member of the team is highly desired. Maintenance experience a plus. Resident manager teams are responsible for the operation of the facility, including providing outstanding customer service, renting storage spaces, marketing our facility to the community, data entry, filing, answering and responding to telephone calls, banking, and keeping the facility maintained, neat, clean, and organized. Reliable transportation and a good driving record is required. Prior customer service and management experience is required. Must be friendly and outgoing, honest, organized, able to accept constructive criticism, able to learn and accept training, able to work in an office and on the grounds, be a problem solver, and more. Basic computer skill (MS Office, Outlook, internet, etc.) is required.
