Live-In Domestic Couple - Washington, DC - - LOCALS PREFERRED

Seeking to hire a full time domestic couple live in position who have worked together before in a domestic household with multiple children setting with a proven track record of capable service and reliability. This is a long-term position on site and covers all general maintenance and service to the home is a plus - (approx. 12k ft. main house) and surrounding grounds.

Job Requirements:

* At least 4 years related experience each working in a private estate

* Experience with multiple children with daily schedule and activities

* Excellent references from and previous employer

* ability to prepare meals and serve events and dinners as needed

* love for animals, will care for 2 elderly dogs and 1 bird.

* Helpful if knows working knowledge of all areas of property maintenance; initiative in tackling home projects hands-on but not needed.

* Flexible scheduling with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

* Legally able to work in the United States

Duties Include:

The day begins at approximately 7:00 am (breakfast for children-triplets) driving them to school and picking them up after school and continues through dinner at approximately 7 pm. Staff will have time for lunch and a short afternoon break if they so choose.

* Assisting with employer's personal needs, and general upkeep and maintenance for the house and surrounding grounds if needed.

* Candidates should be very healthy and able to work on all property related tasks over the long term

* Provide hands-on housekeeping including all aspects of general and deep cleaning: laundry and ironing, cleaning of kitchen, bath, and living areas, organization of closets, pantries, etc., care for art, antiques, and fine furniture, etc.

* Maintain home for guest readiness at all times

* Planning fresh and healthy menus, preparing and serving daily meals as well as parties and events

* Driving family to appointments and engagements

* Maintaining household inventories; supply procurement including grocery shopping
